How to Skin Flood

Have you heard of skin flooding?  I was definitely influenced by a girl on TikTok who had gorgeous skin!  So I decided to try it and honestly I am obsessed.  Skin flooding is basically where you take several toners (as many as you want) and layer them one after the other and just flood your skin with hydration. I have pretty normal/dry skin but with also living in the desert, my skin needs more hydration....and I'm getting older.  I feel like since I've started skin flooding my skin has been looking so much better...brighter, plumper and more youthful.

So I thought I'd share with you some of my must have skin flooding products!  You can get all of these on Amazon (I'll provide links below) but I've sometimes seen these at Marshalls or Ulta too!

I skin flood morning and night.  In the morning I actually don't cleanse my skin (unless I didn't wash it the night before....oops!).  I just rinse with water, pat dry and sometimes use like a facial pad to gently exfoliate.  Then I start my skin flooding.  I like starting with the hypochlorous acid spray.  This helps tremendously with bacteria and redness.  I don't break out too often but I feel like this has helped my breakouts.  Then I like following up with the Acwell PH balancing toner.  It helps brighten the skin and also helps reduce dark spots.  Next I do the PDRN toner.  This particular one comes out in a very fine mist which I love.  It helps with deep hydration and has a slight plumping effect.  Then I do the Snail Collagen toner.  This is another hydrating and plumping toner.  Next is the Peptides toner.  This one has 6 different peptides, niacinamide and hyaluronic acid.  So great for "mature skin" and getting that GLOW!  Last I like a milky toner.  This Byoma one is amazing.  They say you should layer your toners from thinnest to thickest which is why I like doing the milky one last.  I usually pat it all in and let it sit for just a minute or two before I continue the rest of my skincare.  At night I do the same thing except I do double cleanse my skin first.  I'll do my skincare routines in another post :)

I know this might seem so silly to do this, but it's honestly become a self care thing for me and I really think it's changed my skin.  I mean people think I look 10 years younger than I am so I must be doing something right!  Anyways, let me know if you try it and what you think.  I've become obsessed.

ENJOY!!
